ANAHEIM, CALIF. — This weekend (Jan. 29-31, 2016) the Professional Bull Riders “PBR” Anaheim Invitational at Honda Center literally kicks the rodeo season into high gear. The event then heads for Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento Feb. 5-6. Much like the county fair season in California where many annual rodeos are held, there’s a rodeo season which takes a break in the state during December and most of January. The Anaheim event features a Pre-Party on Friday and Saturday nights with mechanical bull rides, live DJ,”Dirty Jack”-themed cocktail, and opportunities to meet a 1,500-pound PBR bull up close and personal! The most famous PBR bull, Bushwacker, was a three-time PBR winner who recently went into retirement in Oakdale, Calif., home to the annual Oakdale Testicle Festival.
