Santa Monica Festival is an annual city festival on May 9, 2015, featuring stage entertainment, dance, art workshops, food trucks, and other activities that reflect the culture and diversity of this Los Angeles County coastal city known for its scenic beauty. Santa Monica is a city of approx. 90,000 residents living next to the Pacific Ocean along the Santa Monica bay. Within view are the majestic Santa Monica mountains that hug the coast north of the city. Santa Monica is a lively place to visit with three shopping districts, a very urban look & feel, yet an authentic early 1900s style pier entertainment fun zone.
