If you’re looking for live Irish music in California on St. Patrick’s Day we’ve put together a short list of favorites.
The best spots to visit on St. Patrick’s Day may not be the most popular or have Irish names. For instance, you can see popular Irish band One Eyed Reilly perform a free concert in the Corin Courtyard at Mondavi Center for the Arts, UC Davis, at 5:30 p.m. on March 17, 2016 in between concerts at Boxing Donkey Irish Pub in Roseville (Noon) and Ollie’s Pub in Lodi (8 p.m.)
When St. Patrick’s Day arrives expect massive crowds and be flexible if plans to visit the “in” spots don’t work out. One Irish bar posted this:
Countdown is on to St Patrick’s Day. Don’t call the pub, we’re not answering the phone.
1. There are NO reservations for St. Patrick’s Day. Tables given on first come first served basis.
2. There is a cover charge of $15, non-refundable.
3. Yes we will serve corned beef & cabbage!
4. Yes we have bagpipes plus pipes & drums.
