California Fruit and Flower Heritage

Santa Clara County has some of the best (tech) job growth and costliest housing in California but was once recognized for miles of orchards that were fragrant and colorful in the springtime. Kids and adults can get a taste of the past at Saratoga’s free Blossom Festival on March 19, 2016 at the Heritage Orchard and City Hall. The event is hosted by Saratoga Historical Foundation and Museum.

- Fresno Blossom Trail paying homage to thriving fruit and nut crops
- Carlsbad Flower Fields through early May

- La Verne’s Heritage Orchard orange picking just ended but you can still visit Heritage Park.
