Happy 150th Birthday, Suisun City!
Suisun City community celebrates its Sesquicentennial on October 13, 2018 with a Main Street parade, carnival rides, live music on Harbor Plaza Stage, community entertainment in Harbor Square Courtyard, and a laser water show spectacular in the Marina to end the day (see suisun.com).
Suisun City is one of the many places I have passed by in my journeys through the Golden State. It’s one that I didn’t have time to explore, but always remembered and swore I’d return to, hoping to get to know it better. There’s no better time than now, as the 30th place to incorporate in California on October 9, 1868, celebrates this momentous occasion with a 150th Birthday Celebration. The City hopes you’ll also come and discover the heart & soul of a community that retains its charm while becoming a Top 20 hottest real estate market in the nation, along with Bay Area neighbors Petaluma, Pleasant Hill & San Jose.

- Come by boat on the famed slough which winds through the Suisun March, the largest contiguous estuarine wetland preserve on the West Coast!
