Surf Rodeo, Lotuses, Bells and Pride — Wanna Take a Ride?
Wanna take a ride at the biggest beach party on the West Coast? At the annual Surf Rodeo in Ventura July 14-15, 2018 on Pierpont Beach, you can wear your favorite cowboy hat competing in a rough & tumble surfing competition. You can also ride on a mechanical bull and hang on for ‘yer life. You can hitch a ride, come on a bike, or hoof it to help the environment and ease traffic. Then you can listen to 30+ bands with names like Highway Starr, a truck driver’s favorite! It’s smooth sailing to this annual festival of surf, sand and country living which includes Bikini Cowgirl Contest, Cornhole Tournament, beer gardens on the sand and Kids’ Corral. Yee-haw!
