Pictured is Taste of Little Italy in San Diego’s eclectic Italian-themed neighborhood. Ideal for pizza and pasta lovers, guests choose the North or South route, or can buy tickets to both.
There must be something to California’s wildly popular Taste events. They charge anywhere from a few bucks to hundreds of dollars and often are tied to a special cause, be it homelessness, hunger or promoting local businesses. We’ve attended a few “tastes” and noticed that the crowd is largely adult and the majority seem to drink as much as they eat. Not all “taste of” events serve alcoholic beverages included in the price but those serving wine, beer and cocktails often sell out.
