If you guessed that Buena Park, Calif. is the Theme Park Capitol of America, you are correct! Just a few of its many attractions through the years have include left to right: Medieval Times (current), Japanese Village and Deer Park, California Alligator Farm, and Knott’s Berry Farm (current).
Buena Park, CA–The United States has more Theme Parks and Entertainment Centers than any other country in the World. And for more than 70 years, many say the “Capitol City for Fun is Buena Park,” whose motto is, “Where Fun Finds You.” No wonder the lively town translates to “Good Park.” After the recent announcement that new themed attractions are slated to open in the Summer 2013, we began researching the history of Buena Park and discovered that it truly is the Capitol of Fun.
