Top 3 Things to See in Eureka, Calif.
Eureka is a storybook city filled with thousands of years of history, evidenced in the the tall, cool redwood forests that are part of or have touched our three favorite things to see. California’s North Coast city is the center for arts and entertainment in the region. Although there are several wonderful museums in a list of must-see attractions, if we have to pick three things we wouldn’t want to miss when visiting, we nailed it down to these:
1. Blue Ox Millworks Park: Victorian era working mill open to the public.
2. Sequoia Park & Zoo: The 67-acres of magnificent old-growth redwoods adjacent to the oldest zoo in California.
3. Carson Mansion & Pink Lady: The Carson Mansion is one of the most photographed structures in the world.
