On Memorial Weekend the festivals abound. But one of California’s favorites yields juicy sweet fun thanks to local, California grown strawberries. Here’s the scoop:
- ANDERSON: Happy Valley Strawberry Festival
- ARROYO GRANDE: Strawberry Stampede, strawberry treats, shortcakes, funnel cakes, milkshakes, ice cream and by the box!
- GARDEN GROVE: Garden Grove Strawberry Festival features a carnival, a big parade, and free strawberry shortcake to each guests on opening day.
- GUERNEVILLE: Taste confections entered into the strawberry dessert contest.
- VISTA: Strawberry pie eating contest, bands galore!
