Bracebridge Dinner is a holiday dining entertainment experience in the historic Ahwahnee Lodge’s dining room. Guests are seated and served a seven course dinner timed to author Washington Irving’s 17th century story taking place in an English manor. From the inspiration for this yuletide ceremony, Irving’s Sketch Book, which described Squire Bracebridge and English Christmas traditions of feast of food, song and mirth, Bracebridge Dinner has been performed at Ahwahnee Hotel since 1927.

The four-hour pageant of classic carols, Renaissance rituals and entertainment of the Middle Ages includes over 100 players (many who come year after year) who act out the roles of the Squire and his family, their servants, the Lord of Misrule, minstrels and more! Each show is unique and there are many surprises throughout. Bracebridge Dinner takes place on December 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 & 25, 2013. Dinner Only tickets are Dinner-only tickets start at $389 per person, RSVP a must! Call: (801) 559-4884. (Here is past coverage)
