What if you thought it would be cool for neighbors to get to know each other better-just like the good ‘ol days? If was a different time back when they had porches and porch swings to sit on so people could watch their neighbors stroll by on a hot summer day or relaxed evening. There were no cell phone distractions, nothing to rush off to because you had officially arrived in the here and now.

Napa has brought that old time tradition back with the annual return of Napa Porch Festival. An assortment of live, local music on many porches in Napa playing on the same day at the same time scattered throughout Downtown neighborhoods invites you to pick and choose the ones you want to go hear. You can bike, drive, walk, skip, roller skate, skate board, pedibike or fly from porch to porch much like you would cruise from studio to studio during the Open Studio events. Music bios and the schedule will be available online (napaporchfest.org) as the event approaches.
