Play Humana Golf, Hear Tony Bennett, Meet Celebs

PALM DESERT, CALIF.–The benefits of playing golf are immense. If you had signed up to play in the Humana Pro-Am tournament today (Jan. 16) you’ll probably be attending the invitation-only Tony Bennett concert tonight at Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, CA. The festivities are part of the annual Human Challenge golf tournament going full swing in the desert to raise money for charity causes. This year celebrities who have signed up to attend the golfing event (previously called Bob Hope Classic) through Jan. 20, 2013, include: Anthony Anderson, Future Hall of Famer Ronde Barber, Grammy and an American Music Award winner Michael Bolton, Alice Cooper, Carson Daly, Eric Dickerson, Marshall Faulk, Don Felder, Grant Fuhr, Jay Feely, Peter Gallagher, Micheal Pena, Craig T. About Tony Bennett: Born in 1932, the 86-year old Tony Bennett’s real name is Anthony Dominick Benedetto. The Queens, New Yorker has had one of the longest singing and entertainment careers in history, starting around 1949. He continues to travel and sell out concerts in major cities around the globe. For Californians, “I Left My Heart in San Francisco” is one of his best tributes to our golden state.
