Where's the Valentines Romance? Valentine's Day (Feb. 14, 2024) falls on Wednesday. 

Whether it's a weekend getaway or a night out on the town, consumers are looking for quality rather than quantity this Valentine's Day. The biggest spenders age 25-34 years typically spend double the national average, and the second biggest spenders age 18-24 aren't far behind. Although the Western U.S. celebrates Valentine's Day less than other regions over half the local population plans on honoring the holiday in a financial way.
