HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR IllumiNature, features themed handmade, lighted Chinese lanterns. Also, real reindeer are back visiting the zoo  at the end of November through the end of the year and will spend time at IllumiNature.

Special attractions and events include age 21+ night on December 6, 2024 where adults can party like animals (just kidding) for $24  or rent an igloo for 90 minutes for $250, fits up to 6 people.

Get away from the traffic and spend a quiet evening at the Zoo with your family. Go for a stroll through brilliantly lit pathways, take a photo with Santa before Christmas, and enjoy live entertainment.

The entire Zoo is transformed into a holiday wonderland, fully decorated with handmade Chinese lantern displays illuminated throughout the Zoo - many designed in various animal shapes and sizes. Guests will enjoy other specially themed areas including nature, Christmas, and Lunar New Year PLUS delicious holiday-inspired food and drinks, live entertainment, and photos with Santa on select nights.

Fresno-Chaffee Zoo has staff and volunteers have really put together an all star event with entertainment and special meet & greets. It's subject to change but here's their posted line up that they're planning to provide for guests during their special night-time holiday event. Dazzling!
