Granada Beach, Belmont Shore, Long Beach

4020 Olympic Plaza
Belmont Shore, CA 90803

Long Beach, California--Belmont Shore is a neighborhood in Long Beach that enjoys sunbathing beaches, a Dog Beach, and kid-friendly places to play such as Mother's Beach at Marine Stadium. One beach that actually closes an entire street for the summer months is located at Bayshore and 2nd Street at the Los Alamitos Bay.

Long Beach loves its ocean setting and takes full advantage of it. One of the nation's biggest, busiest ports, a huge tourists attraction, the Queen Mary ship, Carnival Cruise trips to Baja Mexico, and the usual beach sports and activities make Long Beach one very great place to visit and to live.

Granada Beach next to the Belmont Shore Memorial Pier and the Belmont Pool features smooth sand ideal for sunbathing or reading a book.

A launch port for jetskis is not far away, while kitesurfing and windsurfing also occur on the beaches just south of the pier.

Dog Beach is a section of the beach not directly by the Belmont Pier, but does allow visitors to bring their pets and let them run off leash at the water line if they are well behaved.

And for those looking for a wedding location, Granada Beach is ideally situated with La Palapa Del Mar restaurant right on the sand. The ocean view restaurant specializes in parties, weddings, and other special events.
