The city of Chino Hills is well known for its high quality of life and beautiful rural atmosphere. Chino Hills' strong demographics and its location at the convergence of Orange, Riverside, Los Angeles, and San Bernardino counties make it attractive to commercial developers. Chino Hills is also home to a professional workforce.

Nearly 40% of Chino Hills' adult residents have a bachelors degree or higher and the community ranks among the top 15 Southern California cities in its share of residents employed as executives, professionals, or technology specialists.  The community has grown to a population of 75,345 with 3,000 acres of publicly-owned open space, 40 parks and 39 miles of trails. Recreation is a priority in Chino Hills! The Big League Dreams Chino Hills Sports Park has attracted sports enthusiasts from all over the United States, other countries, and even big name movie directors. The park was the location of the final game scenes in the 2006 movie The Benchwarmers. It features many major league replica stadiums such as Yankee Stadium, Fenway Park, Wrigley and Tiger Stadium, to name a few. Other features are the ability to play indoor soccer, and it has batting cages, tot lots, sand volleyball courts, and two restaurants that overlook playing fields. The McCoy Equestrian & Recreation Center is a beautiful 20-acre facility which includes three lighted arenas, covered bleachers, a gazebo, community building, the McCoy residence and trail connections.

Residents enjoy a strong sense of community which is enhanced as they gather at various City-sponsored events including Concerts in the Park, Movies in the Park, the Old- Fashioned Fourth of July Picnic, Easter Egg-Citement, and the Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony to mention a few.
