Paradise, CA Travel, Photos Information and News

Wouldn't you just love to live in Paradise? It's a fairly small place and maybe not for everyone's liking as a permanent residence. The mountain community is located in the Shasta Cascade region of Northern California. Its elevation of 2,000 to 2,800 feet in the Sierra mountains makes for interesting weather and spectacular scenery. Mellow summers and winters that bring an occasional dusting of snow make for a place in California that has weather, unlike the Southern California cities that tourists and newcomers so often complain about.

What to see and do in Paradise? An award-winning Gold Nugget Museum ( is a must see during your visit. The Memorial Trailway makes for a nice stroll and the 700 seat Paradise Performing Arts Center brings top notch entertainment to the mountain destination.
