Held annually on the third weekend in September, this trip back in time is powered by the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau. The Route 66 Cruisin' Reunion is Southern California's ultimate weekend celebration of America's love affair with the automobile and its world-famous highway, Route 66. Two days of cars, contests, live entertainment, fabulous food and revelry make it one of the best events of its kind. Held annually each September along historic, tree-shaded Euclid Avenue, Route 66 Cruisin' Reunion is where classic cruisers, convertibles, hot rods, and wicked Woodies fuel a jam-packed jamboree. Nearly 1,000 classic cars, live concerts and family activities traditionally draw a crowd of more than 150,000 attendees annually.

2021 Entertainment

Over 1,000 Classic Cars cruising Euclid Avenue in Ontario. Historic downtown Euclid Avenue tree lined grass median is where family and friends gather to enjoy the festivities. Unique to many classic car shows is the cruisin on city streets as well as the show and shine.

The main stage is at Ontario Town Square where lawn chairs and blankets can be placed on the grass to enjoy the evening shows. The secondary stage is on the Euclid Avenue Median where during the day several different bands play. All entertainment, like the event itself, is free to attend.

Petersen Automotive Museum educational activities:

• Road Trip Across America! oversized map of the US, blends crafts and education as visitors learn about the towns, roadside attractions and sights that line traditional Route 66.
•  Youth Judging teaches kids the basics of car judging. There's even a Youth Choice Award.
• Classic Car Creation Station with materials provided at the Peterson Automotive Museum booth.
• Hot Rod Pedal Car Photo Opportunity.

Route 66 fans can catch another car show in October, as well, when San Bernardino hosts Rendezvous Back to Route 66.
