A tradition for more than 20 years, the Petaluma Yacht Club Flotilla of decorated boats parade on the Petaluma River arriving at approx. 6:30 p.m. at the Petaluma River Turning Basin in the heart of Historic Downtown. Once there, they remain for all to see during the evening celebration.

The parade starts at the Petaluma Marina at 5:30 p.m. and arrives in the Turning Basin between 6 and 6:30 p.m.

Best viewing is on Water St., Jack Balshaw Bridge, Golden Eagle Shopping Center or at the Yacht Club.

Yachtsmen and yacht clubs join in the lavish Petaluma Lighted Boat Parade aglow with colorful lights. Launching from Petaluma Marina at dusk (about 5:30 p.m.) the majestic and festive boats and yachts glide toward Historic Downtown Harbor remaining on view all evening in the Historic Downtown harbor behind the Great Petaluma Mill at 6 Petaluma Blvd. No. and B Street.

Following the Lighted Boat Parade, diners and shoppers stick around Historic Downtown to mingle & mix, dine or snack and enjoy the evening entertainment at restaurants and clubs.
