Tree Lighting Experience the season with sparkle and shine at the IllumiNATION Holiday Festival, a new multicultural family celebration at District56.

Parking is available in the Aquatics Center Lot at 9701 Big Horn Boulevard with additional off-site overflow parking in the Dignity Health Medical Plaza located at 8220 Wymark Dive.

Lineup starts at 4:30 p.m. on Laguna Springs Drive at Lotz Parkway; Parade starts at 6 p.m.

Parade route:  starts on Laguna Springs Drive and travels north to Civic Center Drive, left on Civic Center Drive to its completion around District56

Old Town Elk Grove  Street Fair Saturday,  10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parade of Lights 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Old Town Elk Grove  Street Faire is heralds the start of the city's Yuletide Season with entertainment and merchants.

Shop in the Americana Vintage Vendor Village with seasonal treats, photos with Santa, and fun for the kids including holiday inflatables, games and synthetic ice skating.

Holiday Parade of Lights at 6 p.m. is presented by the Elk Grove Lions Club and Sutter Health, followed by a magical tree lighting and snowfall finale.

Celebrate community, culture, and holiday cheer in an unforgettable evening!

Old Town Elk Grove Dickens Street Fair is always held the first Saturday after Thanksgiving. Elk Grove Boulevard hosts over 145 arts and crafts vendors, commercial vendors, and community groups. Best of all, it's free to enjoy and all are invited. Stroll through Old Town and explore. Arts & crafts vendors, commercial vendors and community group fill Elk Grove Boulevard from 2nd Ave. to Derr Street. Food vendors, free entertainment on East & West Stages and 15 tons of snow delight children and families. At the Snow Park the 15 tons of snow is transported into town just for this special occasion.
