 Tree Lighting Experience the season with sparkle and shine at the IllumiNATION Holiday Festival, a new multicultural family celebration at District56.

 A Multicultural Family Celebration with sparkle and shine includes shopping the international holiday marketplace, tasty treats from around the world, and family holiday photo in front of the City's Ribbon Tree!

In addition to the festival, residents are encouraged to enter or line the streets to watch the beloved Holiday of Lights Parade, which starts at 6 pm. To participate in the free parade,  submit a parade entry. Bring your family and friends and get into the holiday spirit! Old Town Elk Grove Dickens Street Fair 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parade of Lights is December 7, 2019, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Kick off this Holiday Season with the Annual Dickens' Street Fair – there's crafts, antiques, food vendors, entertainment and Santa's Play Land in the Plaza. Come and help the CSD Firefighters rescue Santa from a rooftop at 10 a.m. in Elk Grove! Finish the day by enjoying the Holiday Lights Parade with hot chocolate and cookies and the lighting of the Traditional Old Town Christmas Tree at 6 p.m. approx.
