The annual Gilroy Holiday Parade brings out the community spirit (around 5,000 people are expected to attend) with marching school bands, decorated motorcycles, trucks and funny vehicles, costumed riders on horses, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, church groups and pretty much everyone in the community.
The grand event is part of an entire day's celebration which includes an entertainment stage filled with great music and talent, games, contests, and of course the culmination of the day--Santa's lighting the Christmas Tree in Downtown Gilroy.
