Lassen County Chamber of Commerce Annual Magical Country Christmas Celebration. With a focus on Santa Claus, this event in the past has also been called the Santa Parade.  Live entertainment, food, music, Santa's grand entry parade and fireworks in Historic Uptown Susanville are festive events that all happen in a single afternoon and evening.  The Magical Country Christmas is an annual, anticipated community events you won't want to miss.

In 2022 the scene was dusted with a sprinkling of snow. It was truly a beautiful sight to behold at Christmastime as Santa and Mrs. Claus rode up in an antique fire truck, waving to the crowds with big snowflakes come down from the sky.

Southern California's beaches are a far cry from this truly magical  Christmas Parade, with REAL snow instead of the trucked in stuff that kids at the beach never actually see come falling down and accumulating on the ground.
