Artist Bill Anderson created a fun activity for children to color during the holiday season. The California-based artist knows plenty about kids and art–he is a retired art teacher who taught in the the public school system for several decades.

It is not unusual for former students to visit his Sunset Beach-based Anderson Art Gallery today. Now that they are all grown up and can drive, they come to see his current exhibits, discuss the impact his instruction and lessons had on their lives, and some even bring their own art creations to share.

Anderson is like Santa Claus, with his "toys" being the gift of imagination and interpretation realized in pieces of art that often contain iconic images of California places, people and things.

The artist's works have brought much joy to the likes of Cameron Diaz who purchased & gifted a beautiful sculpture of a mother and child to her very own mom. Happy Holidays!
