After Lemoore Volunteer Fire Department makes its annual trek to the Sierras to find the most spectacular Christmas Tree that's hauled down the mountain, erected in the middle of the Fox & D intersection and decorated with lights, there's a Tree Raising Celebration. That event is the pre-party to the Christmas Tree Lighting and Parade, all part of the festivities that takes place in conjunction with the Tree Lighting Ceremony on the same night, all enjoyed in fun loving Lemoore, the American version of the the French l'amour, we believe. It means love.

The Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony starts around 5 p.m. in the center of town at Fox & D Streets. After the lighting, the parade commences around 6 p.m. Look for honored guests such as Santa and of course, the Lemoore Volunteer Firefighters!
