Pittsburg Tree Lighting Ceremony in Old Town showcases a gorgeous tree decorated with hundreds of lights in a spectacle to behold. Santa Claus is on hand to help officiate, along with Pittsburg's mayor and dignitaries. Holiday treats greet guests to this beautiful ceremony and community focused event allowing you to meet and greet the locals.

Past info:

The City of Pittsburg Parks & Recreation Department invites you to attend the Lighting Ceremony's Holiday Tree. The fully decorated City tree is at Railroad Avenue in Old Town Pittsburg. Show your holiday spirit and start a family tradition by attending the annual lighting of the City's tree. In the past, hot chocolate was provided courtesy of Steeltown Coffee while listening to holiday music performed by our own Pittsburg Community Band. Also, members of the Black Diamond Ballet Company were on hand to give a sneak preview of their up-coming performance of the Nutcracker Ballet.

There will be photo opportunities with Santa--bring cameras! Come back to Old Town for an exciting community parade, the Holiday Parade with children marching to Christmas music, along with floats and great entertainment.

Events are not guaranteed. It is your responsibility to confirm before going.
