Free Shuttles to and from the event at Poway City Hall Parking Lot, 13325 Civic Center Drive; Poway Adult School Parking lot located at 13626 Twin Peaks Road. Shuttles will run throughout the event, beginning at 3 p.m. and leaving Old Poway Park for the last trip at 9 p.m.

Among the many things to see and do in this evening of fun, you can view the community Christmas tree lighting
Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive by train and afterward, you can take your picture with Santa and Mrs. Claus in Santa's Village. Kids can have their faces painted, ride the steam locomotive train for a nominal fee, make holiday ornaments to help decorate the community Christmas tree and pet animals at the petting zoo.
Listen--do you hear the music? Live musical holiday entertainment and caroling, children's theater and singing performances and square dancing performances are the beginning of fun. Purchase handcrafted holiday gifts, see an HO model train display, visit the Museum and sing Christmas songs with the piano player or visit the Nelson House and play old-fashioned games.
Don't worry about getting hungry! Old Poway Park Action Committee sells and serves up holiday sweets and warm dinner foods.
Christmas in the Park is cosponsored by the City of Poway and volunteer based organizations. Other fun events include Poway's terrific summer concert series.
