2026 Concert

• Billy Lee and the Swamp Critters: Gulf Coast Music. A gumbo of Cajun, Zydeco, Mardi Gras & Texas Swing
• Kaylee Daughtery: One of San Diego’s top jazz vocalists and songwriters
• Nathan and Jessie: A unique blend of jazzy folk and blues on resonator guitars and accordion
• Whiskey and Burlap: A local trio combing Americana, bluegrass, country, and folk music
• The Winter Sisters: An original songwriting trio of local favorites Cathryn Beeks, Sande Lollis, and Bonnie Nicholls
• Fast Heart Mart: A banjo blend of rock, folk, punk, old-time country, bluegrass, blues, rap, and Indian raga…or simply Punkgrass music

Bluegrass, Olde Time, Irish music, and many more genres are performed at the  Annual Sam Hinton Folk Festival hosted by San Diego Folk Heritage. This wonderful outdoor event will feature musical performances, musical workshops, group jams and an open mic stage. A great variety of folk music will be offered including Bluegrass, Olde Time, Irish music, and much more.

Pomerado Community Band

Listen to bands from near and far offering a variety of musical genres from blue grass ensembles to full concert bands. Old Poway Park Action Committee members, the Pomerado Community Band and the Poway Arts and Crafts Guild,  host the annual California Band Festival and Arts and Crafts Market.

For Lake Poway concerts, parking is free for residents and $10 fee for nonresidents. A free shuttle service will be provided from the north parking lot of Poway High School to Lake Poway. This event draws large crowds; please arrive early and plan on taking the shuttle. Parking is free for the Old Poway Park concerts. Arrive early to secure a good spot in front of the stage. 

Bring your blanket or chair, picnic dinner or snack, and have a great time with family and friends. Food trucks at Lake Poway concerts.

The Summer Concert in the Park Series features an annual musical lineup which always includes a variety of bands that are sure to keep your feet stompin' and your groove groovin'.

Everyone is invited to bring a blanket or chair, picnic dinner or snack, and head on out to the park for a great time with family and friends. 

Fun community events are held throughout the year in Poway. Old Poway Park provides entertainment throughout the seasons and one very special time is the Tree Lighting Ceremony and Santa's Arrival by train.
