The Parade of Lights is the highlight of Broadway Plaza’s holiday season kick-off event, and includes music, entertainment, and a special Tree Lighting Ceremony led by Santa Claus himself!

Schedule of Activities:

5:30 - 7 p.m. Visit with Broadway Plaza Retailers and special vendors

• Enjoy strolling entertainment from the Concord High Minutemen Marching Band The Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) will be onsite with furry friends up for adoption
• The Grinch, Jack Frost, Elsa and Anna will be available for Meet & Greets near the Christmas Tree

 6 p.m. Holiday Showcase Performed by the Performing Assemble in the Event Plaza by Macy's

7-8 p.m. The Holiday Parade of Lights & Tree Lighting (Broadway Plaza Street) This year's parade will feature community groups such as local high school marching bands and dance teams,  Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce, Walnut Creek's  Police Depart and the Contra Costa Fire Department, Walnut Creek on Ice, Preschool Groups, Performing Arts groups and More!

The tree lighting will be at the completion of the parade.
