Miner/ Broadway Streets closed to thru vehicle traffic at 8 a.m.

The tree lighting ceremony in Yreka is part of an evening event called Night of Lights. It includes Santa Claus coming to town, the official lighting of the Yreka Christmas Tree and festivities to launch the weekend of fun with the big parade held the next day. Tree Lighting  starts  at the Yreka Volunteer Fire Department. Merchants are open with fun holiday treats and festive surprises!

  • The magic begins with Food, Beverages, Music, Entertainment, Artisan Craft Vendors, Magician, Balloon Artist, Face Painting, and more! 4 p.m.
  • Photos with Santa at Bella Art Works Party Room
  • Frosty the Snowman 4:45 p.m.
  • Yreka High School Ensemble choral performance 5:30 p.m.
  • Holiday Bluegrass & Folk Band on 4th Street Stage 6 p.m.
  • Tree Lighting Spectacular at Yreka Fire Department, Oregon & Miner Streets, 6:30 p.m.
  • Flash Mob, Holiday Juggler  6:45 p.m.
  • Event concludes 8 p.m.

Yreka Night of Lights includes great local entertainment!

This event usually is held after the annual Christmas Holiday Parade.
