Artisan vendors, live music, food court, beer garden and kids activities and a free shuttle. Spend an evening in the mountains on a summer night and have a great time. Truckee, California, the gateway to the Sierra Nevada Mountains at 5,817 ft. elevation, is the fifth snowiest city in the United States, but during the summer months is fairly dry (rainfall seldom averages more than half an inch per month.) Temps during the market are pleasant and can be in the 60s or 70s, dipping slightly at night.
Truckee Thursdays is a feel-good event that beckons the community to enjoy some exuberant downtown summertime energy. This lively weekly event is on both locals' and visitors' must-do list. In addition, attendees find sidewalk sales and other activities hosted by downtown merchants, offering the opportunity to get acquainted with all Historic Downtown Truckee has to offer year round!
