KIDS ON BIKES: Just enter them in the Britton Memorial Bike Brigade at the Movn' West RV Park. Kids MUST wear a helmet to participate. Bikes will be decorated at Movn' West. Half Moon Bay's delightful, home-spun Ol' Fashioned 4th of July Parade celebrates Independence Day in small town America with an entertaining array of whimsical floats, marching bands, horses, community service groups, classically cool cars, decorated trikes and bikes, "Pooches on Parade", youth sports teams, dance and theatre troupes, a Color Guard by the American Legion, and local dignitaries and celebrities slowly winding their way through the crowded downtown along Main Street between Filbert and Mill Streets. The Half Moon Bay Lions Club will be hosting its annual 4th of July Pancake Breakfast at Mac Dutra Park beginning at 8 am. SAN GABRIEL: Kids Day & 4th of July Parade 9:30 a.m.
Plaza Park, 428 South Mission Drive, in front of the San Gabriel Mission and continue North through the Mission District, continue East on Broadway and conclude at Smith Park, 232 West Broadway. Registration is free, but you must register in order to be in the parade. Kids are welcome to ride their decorated tricycle, bike or scooter, or walk in the parade (prizes for best decorated). Activities at Smith Park include a watermelon eating contest, barbeque, games, entertainment and refreshments. Youth centered community groups will also host activities in the park. The parade consists of bicycles, strollers, scooters, wagons, and pedestrians only. Residents who own dogs are welcome to bring their pets on leashes to participate in the parade. Where does the parade finish? The parade ends at Berniece Bennett Park located in First Neighborhood at 31800 Village Center Drive.

Hot dogs will be available for sale for $1 from the Rotary Club of Westlake Village. Proceeds will go to support a local Veteran's group. WEST SACRAMENTO: West Sacramento Ride, White & Blue Fourth of July Bike Parade Where: The parade takes place on the Clarksburg Branch Lines Trail starting at Locks Drive and ending at the Rec Center Pool When: Saturday, July 4 at 12:30 p.m. Details: Join the city of West Sacramento Parks and Recreation Department for the first "Ride, White, & Blue Fourth of July Bike Parade." This is a free event and all riders are encouraged to decorate their bikes with red, white & blue stars, streamers, and other July 4 decorations.
