 San Anselmo Parks & Recreation Commission volunteer work party at Memorial Park in recognition of Earth Day includes projects such as 

• painting of the restroom (inside and out)
• adding wood chips to the playground areas
• weeding, mulching
• general clean-up of the park
• refreshments and a light lunch  provided
• volunteers encouraged to bring wheelbarrows and shovels for wood chip project.
   

Elders' Garden Work Party is a community event that invites you out to the biggest work party of the year! Spring has sprung and it is time to use mulch in home gardens and in the Elders' Garden.  Volunteers are needed to put six yards of mulch on the garden, which is located next to the playground at Memorial Park.

No "green thumb" necessary in performing this task to help the community grow even greener.

Other fun events in the Town of San Anselmo include the annual Egg Hunt and Tree Lighting ceremony.
