1. Kids Day at Plummer Park April 29, 2017, includes local school participation for children and their families. This free event features fun activities, community services information, environmental and public safety education and more. 

2. City of West Hollywood Earth Day Tree Planting, April 22, 2017, 9 a.m. The City of West Hollywood and its Public Facilities Commission recognize National Arbor Day on Earth Day with a brief ceremony and tree planting at Pacific Hills School, 8628 Holloway Drive. Once planted, the tree, which will be a native, drought-tolerant species, will be used as an educational tool and will be maintained and nurtured by the students. Call (323) 848-6895, weho.org
