Capitola Easter Egg Hunt at St. Joseph's on Saturday afternoon invites parents to bring their children for some old-fashioned fun, part of an extensive Lenten schedule of events. It begins in February each year with Ash Wednesday Masses and culminates on Easter weekend with services on Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday. The 3rd annual Egg Hunt in 2024 invites kids to bring baskets to gather their goodies.

Capitola by the Sea knows a good thing whey they see it and their beaches are the focal point for activities events throughout the seasons ranging from the Surfing Santa arrival at Christmas to the Begonia Festival in the summer and one of the smaller children's favorites, the arrival of the Easter Bunny. Launch your spring with an old fashioned beach Easter Egg Hunt. Children 12 and under can hunt for Easter eggs on the beach and visit with the Easter Bunny.
