Galt Eggstravaganza & Kite Day is presented by Galt Area Historical Society. The Egg Hunt starts at 9 a.m. with eggs hidden all over the Ranch. Good luck! The Pie Eating Contest is at 12 p.m. Noon, and the Egg Drop begins at 1 p.m. You must wrap and secure a RAW EGG in such a manner as it survives a drop from the CSD Fire Department Ladder Truck.

All packages will be opened after hitting the ground to verify that the RAW EGG is intact. There is a limit of 20 participants and limited to 12yrs and under.

The fun event also includes Food, Vendors, Candy Drop, Kite Flying, Crafts and Pictures with the Easter Bunny.


Egg Drop Eggstravaganza  Rules

Your raw egg must be "protected" in such a way to survive a 40' - 50' drop from the top of CSD's Ladder Truck.
The egg will be tossed into the air over the grass.
Surviving eggs will be awarded a prize.

Easter Events are subject to change at discretion of event planners. It is your responsibility to confirm before going.
