This event is for guests staying overnight in the African safari tents or for
the day tours.
Safari West offer two sessions, 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., for brunch and then an egg hunt. Safari West is home to really BIG eggs such as the ostrich egg you can see on an excursion, include an annual event, Hunt for the Hare. This annual hare-raising Easter adventure includes Easter Brunch and a tour to search for Mr. Hare. Parents get to act like kids on this adventure!
Mr. Hare has disappeared, so the story goes, and guests of all ages ride along a trail to find the 6 foot rabbit. Children will have a session with the make-up artist who will use face paint to make kids look like their favorite animal for the day. On the ride, kids are assigned to leave carrot clues that will lead the big bunny back home to Safari West Savannah Cafe.
Mr. Hare joins the group at Easter brunch and offers chocolate eggs to all the kids-- everyone's a winner! Mrs. Hare will be on hand, too.
