Auburn Community Harvest Festival

Live music, giant pumpkin contest, scarecrow contest, arts and crafts booths showcasing local artisans and a costume contest and parade for all ages are part of the fun at the Harvest Festival.  Bring the whole family to this Fall celebration.

 Approx. Schedule and information

  • 9:30 a.m. Giant Pumpkin Weighing Begins
  • 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Judging for the Scarecrow Contest  Performance 
  • 12:30 p.m. Giant Pumpkin Awards
  • 1-4 p.m. Bob Woods Trio concert
  • 1:30 p.m. Costume Parade Gathers at Bocce Courts
  • 2 p.m. Costume Parade led by the Sugar Plump Fairies; Voting on People's Choice Scarecrow Ends
  • 3 p.m. Scarecrow Contest Awards

There are carnival games and pony rides for kids, food and vendor booths hosted by local nonprofits and Sugar Plump Fairies are out in friendly force for wholesome activities that cater to the entire family.

Family Recipe Contest

Group: Scarecrows created with adult oversight of a group of children (age restriction).
Open: This is for either individual or group creation.
People's Choice: All scarecrows are eligible regardless of category. Public in attendance may vote for their favorite. Top vote getter is the
People's Choice.
CASH PRIZES: Open Winner  $500 | Group/Youth Winner  $100 | People's Choice $500
COSTUME CONTEST & PARADE 1 p.m. with parade at 2 p.m.
