Teens age 13-18 years Halloween Fright Night -- Come in your best costume and enjoy a Friday evening being creepy. It will be a night of playing Just Dance, zombie games and munching on party snacks. For teens 13-18. The Mary L. Stephens Davis Branch Library is accessible for persons with disabilities. Program is sponsored by the Davis Branch Library and the Friends of the Davis Branch Library  there!

Each year Yolo County Library gives away prizes to the best costumes in the County. There are two ways to enter. Post your own costume picture on the Yolo County Library Facebook page facebook.com/yolocountylibrary.org  or Instagram page (instagram.com/yolocountylibrary). Tag it with #yclcontest19 on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter. You can also enter by wearing your costume to your local library branch and asking a staff member to take a picture for you. Four winners will be selected for a prize and recognition at their local library branch. Winners selected by November 10, 2019

Free annual Treat Trail Halloween Celebration in Downtown is a child-friendly Halloween holiday event. Enjoy trick or treating at over 80 participating Davis Downtown businesses. Parents pick up a map downtown or look for participation signs at businesses.

Dia de los Muertos Celebration

The Davis Cemetery District and Arboretum invites the public to an altar viewing and pan dulce, followed at noon by an indigenous Mexica danza and traditional Mexican music. The festivities will include Danza by Kulpulli Tlayolotl, Mariachi Puente, and much more. Traditional hot chocolate and pan dulce treats also will be provided. Guests can also purchase tamales and churros. There will be a collective altar honoring all ancestors. This event is free and open to the public and everyone is welcome to contribute to the altar or create their own.
