Davis Downtown Treat Trail is the event of the Season that entertains youth and adults who come in amazing, entertaining and even outrageous costume to see & be seen on Halloween. For those strictly looking for the candy treats the timing of the event makes it possible head for parties and neighborhood canvassing after the Downtown party which ends at 6 p.m.

However, with over 70 shops and merchants handing out goodies, kids can make a pretty good haul with enough candy to send them into a sugar high for weeks.

While locals attend the Downtown Treat Trail faithfully, there's also a influx of guests from cities nearby who love the vibe and show up to be part of the excitement. The streets are packed with costume-clad kids and adults and the creativity is apparent everywhere.  Traffic's definitely an issue so come early to find parking spots or be prepared to park further away and walk.

Zombie Bike Parade Festival

• BMX Stunt Show 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. at Mace Ranch Park (the midpoint of the Zombie Bike Parade)
• Skydiving Zombies finale at Community Park

Bike Ride Rules: 

• Bicycling is not required. Pedestrians, scooters, skateboards, strollers, and other modes of transportation are allowed.
• There is no starting or ending point for the ride. Riders can hop on the Davis Bike Loop at any location and choose to ride in either direction.

For those who find it difficult to traverse bike lanes and green belts, consider driving to Community Park where the majority of the day's festivities take place. Community Park has food and drink vendors, entertainment and the skydiving grand finale. ​ Professional zombie actors and local community groups and businesses will put on unique performances at different locations along the route.

HALLOWEEN COSTUMES ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED!!

The ride takes place over the 12-mile Davis Bike Loop. All types of bikes allowed. Trailers okay for carrying dogs, children, etc.  Bikes can be electric or electric-assist or other. • Helmets strongly encouraged and required for riders under 18 years old. • Must follow all city and state bike laws.
