Canine Howloween Contest
Sponsored by Downtown Huntington Beach Business Improvement District, this annual event attracts thousands of kids and adults for free entertainment and merchant trick or treating for youth. A variety of activities on city streets that are closed for the special event make this a safe experience for parents who want their kids to have fun but often worry about traffic and crossing busy streets for trick or treating. As an added bonus 5th and PCH which runs parallel a block over from Main Street also opens its doors to activities and fun, all coordinated under the umbrella of one experience.
Open to families and all ages, the event is geared mostly for children with a petting zoo, bounce houses, a costume contest, and a pumpkin carving contest. Events are all free and take place on Main Street and cross streets (Olive, Walnut) in the first 400 blocks of Main Street and 5th Street between PCH & Orange Ave. Parking in the city garage is limited.

Halloween Poster Magic Spook-tacular Sunday, October 28, 2018, 1-3 p.m.
Halloween craft stations will keep your little goblins entertained. Gather your friends and family early to get an up close seat for an amazing performance. Join the Amazing Dave for a spooky good time and Halloween Magic, pumpkin juggling, tons of audience participation and a guest appearance from Frankenstein himself! This show is all about the silly side of Halloween and isnít scary at all. The show starts at 1 p.m. After the show head on into the craft room to decorate a free take home pumpkin (first 75 kids) and be entertained by balloon twister.

Enjoy The Pumpkin Patch Petting Zoo and Pete The Cat books. Be Crafty! Decorate your own little pumpkin. Come Dressed Up! Have fun parading around in your costumes!
Trick or Treat October 31, 2018, 3:30-5:30 p.m.
Kid are invited to wear their costumes and trick or treat with mall merchants. Look for Candy Stop signs at participating merchants. That's where kids can find treats -- no tricks needed.
