Kids can safely trick or treat from car trunks or booths. us decorated vehicles and/or booths participating. There will be food and merchandise vendors, a DJ, and  Halloween activities for the kids to participate in. This event is FREE to attend. Dogs prohibited.

If you would like to participate and have a Halloween spirited vehicle in the event, please do not hesitate to pick-up an application at the Community Services Office at City Hall, or at the La Verne Community Center. Rules will apply to those taking part in this event.

Halloween Trick or Treat in Old Town La Verne

The annual Children's Downtown Trick or Treat invites ages 1-12 years to show off their costumes while gathering treats from the merchants. (Co-sponsored by the Heritage Plaza Merchants' Association & the Community Services Department) 

Every year local merchants in Old Town La Verne host a safe, family-oriented, trick-or-treat candy walk for children on the afternoon of Halloween.

Actual dates: October 3-5, 10-12, 17-20 & 24-26, 2025 | Fridays 4-8 p.m.; Saturdays & Sundays 10 a.m.-8 p.m.

  40 vendors selling clothing, jewelry, soaps, artwork, antique style wooden signs, food, gourmet fare and more.

  Calling all classic cars -  if interested in displaying your pre-1975 car or truck please call Jim Clark (909) 225-0255. Heritage Park gives the perfect backdrop to enjoy a part of the past in its 20th Annual Classic Car Show featuring music, 50/50 drawing, food and hayrides.
