FREE community event is perfect for all ages, so bring your family and friends for a fun-filled trick-or-treat adventure.   Several downtown businesses will be handing out treats. Everyone is invited to come in costume and enjoy the festivities. It’s the perfect way to get into the Halloween spirit! Don’t miss out on this ghoulishly good time!

• Kids Costume Contest is scheduled for 1 p.m.

• Frankenstein & His Bride pose for photos

Doggie Costume Contest prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place costumes.

Kid's Costume Contest for ages 10 years and under with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes for two age groups. 5 and under and 6 through 10. Frankenstein & his Bride will be attending for photos and visits.

Register, then Drop-Off  your pumpkins by October 1, 2025 Voting Begins: October 1, 2025 Voting Completes: October 15, 2025 Display Ends: October 31, 2025

First-ever Pumpkin Decorating Contest at Yuba Sutter Marketplace.

• Participants must provide their own pumpkins.
• Pumpkins may be real, plastic, foam or homemade.
• No carving of real pumpkins is allowed (to prevent rotting).
• Pumpkins need to be free standing.
• Pumpkins must not exceed 2 feet in diameter (height or width)
• The top 5 pumpkins with the most votes win!

Events are not guaranteed. It is your responsibility to confirm before going.
