Never seen pumpkin races? They've been going on in California for many years and one that come to mind in Rosemead's very own Los Angeles County is Manhattan Beach Pumpkin Races. We've been there, enjoyed it and highly recommend Rosemead give it a try. Hopefully it will be popular so they can turn it into a tradition for families to attend annually.

Rosemead Trunk or Treat

Halloween Trunk or Treat takes place at Rosemead Community Center. Kids are invited to walk and receive treats from the trunks of festively decorated cars in the parking lot. Rosemead Community Center activities include Costume Contest, Dog Costume Contest, Moon Bounce House and Arts & Crafts. This event is free of charge!

More than just goblins, ghouls and ghosts, activities include costume contests (categories for youth, adults, and dogs), carnival games, and arts & crafts.  For a spine-tingling adventure, stop by the Haunted House, too!

Rosemead Pumpkin Dive

September 28, 2024, 12-4 p.m. (12-1:30 p.m. & 2-3:30 p.m.)

 Jump in and pick your favorite pumpkin at Rosemead Aquatic Center. A floating pumpkin patch lets you find the perfect pumpkin, with a chance to decorate it. Event is for ages 3-16 yrs. (Age 7 and under must be accompanied in the water by an adult 18 years or older. One adult per child). The event  fee of $7 to participate. One Pumpkin per child. *There will be no on-site registration on the day of the event, so register early!
