Suisun City Halloween Parade

Participants should line up on the Main Street parking lot at 3:30 p.m. A walk down Main Street gets under way at 4:30 p.m. There will be special prizes for the best policeman and firefighter costumes. All ages are welcome. Family costumes are a crowd favorite.  

Haunted Carhouse Tours

October 20-29, 2023, 5:30-9 p.m.

Interactive haunted attraction offering plenty of Ghosts and Ghouls from the haunted past of the Museum and old Sacramento Northern Railroad - and  not all of them want you to make it back! Stick close to guides to make it to the other side.

  • Haunted Tours begin  in  Visitor Center starting at 7:30 p.m.
  • Maximum 10 people per tour group
  • Departs every 15 minutes
  • Family friendly (less scary)Twilight Tours 6-7 p.m.

Take a step back into history, as you make your way through our Haunted Carhouses, but can you make it out alive! All of the ghosts and ghouls are out, and you must follow your tour guide through a number of treacherous paranormal encounters.

Suisun City Pumpkin Patch Scarecrow Contest

October 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 & 29, 2023, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Take a scenic ride in a vintage railcar down to the pumpkin patch where there's pumpkin chucking, a giant hay fort, zipline, tractor rides, a petting zoo and so much more! You can also enjoy live music and tasty food and beverages, provided by the local Rotary Clubs.

Rotary Clubs of Fairfield-Suisun, Dixon, and Cordelia have something to Crow about!! They are offering a Scarecrow Contest to be displayed at the Rotary Pumpkin Festival held at the Western Railway Museum in Rio Vista the weekends of Cash prizes will be awarded for Best Scarecrows: 1st Place $1,000; 2nd Place $500; 3rd Place $250. Cash prizes will be awarded for Best Scarecrows: 1st Place $1,000; 2nd Place $500; 3rd Place $250.  Guests visiting the Pumpkin Patch can vote for their favorite scarecrow.
