California Music Festival on Memorial Weekend are Hot!

Memorial Weekend Music California

The Memorial Weekend is a great time to attend a concert. In most cities the weather is nice and cool while the vibes are hot. Among the great weekend festival events are a long-time Topanga Days, a throwback to the 60s and 70s, and definitely way cool in its focus on community. Bands are eclectic and indie for the most part. Another great music festival is the annual Lightning in a Bottle where music's in full throttle. Audio on the Bay in Richmond is appropriately an e-dub style event with pulsating beats and constant motion. Nice for those who like high energy sounds.

For the jazz bunch, there's Carlsbad's cool jazz (lots of sax) and the long-standing, bringing-it-on-home Sac Jazz Festival, which now goes by the name Music Festival. Around the same time the Simi Valley Jazz and Cajun Festival features rhythms filled with melody and high energy. Dancing is part of the scene at this event.
