You'll be "walking the dog" at the National Yo-yo Championships. Every year the finest spinners and walkers come equipped with tricks to battle it out for honors on the stage at the epi-center of the Yo-yo craze -- California.

Each spinner selects music to go along with his or her entry, making for an entertaining time as the performers show their stuff. The National Yo-Yo Contest is free for all qualified competitors and free for all spectators.

 The WCYYC is the official Nationals Qualifying event for the South West Region of the United States where many of the top yo-yo players in the world reside. For over a decade the Southwest Regional Yo-Yo Contest has had a long history of attracting World and National Champions to come and compete, with players flying in from countries as far as Japan and Europe.
