Dunsmuir Railroad Days is a community-centric festival celebrating the heritage of Railroad, River, and Family early each summer. Expect perfect weather (usually in the low-to-mid 80s F.) The lush, green landscape and Mt. Shasta views let you know that there are few places in California to rival this scenic Siskiyou County destination with its welcoming, small town vibe that sets the tone for three incredible days of fun!

Day 1

1 p.m. Museum Open
3 p.m. Vendors
5-10 p.m. Battle of the Bands

Day 2 

Railroad Days Parade  June 11, 2022 

8 a.m. River Run | Rotary Pancake Breakfast
10 a.m. Vendors | Mr & Miss Little Engineer Contest | Children's Activities | Dunsmuir Museum | Library Book & Bake Sale
12 p.m. Dunsmuir Railroad Days Parade
1 p.m. Main Stage Entertainment
4 p.m. Fiddle Contest, categories age 17 & under | age 18 and older. 4 minutes provided per contestant to play 3 tunes. $5-10 to compete, registration 3 p.m. next to City Hall Live music, parade, food, drinks, vendors and of course cornhole! This will be an epic day in historical town of Dunsmuir

Day 3 

Dunsmuir Railroad Days
9 a.m.-1 p.m. Soap Box Derby
10 a.m. Cornhole Tournament
10 a.m. Vendors | Museum opens
11 a.m. Main Stage Entertainment
Live musical entertainment.
1-4 p.m. Show-n-Shine at Dunsmuir Ave. - Cedar St.
1-3 p.m. Adult Soap Box Derby on Pine St.

This year the annual car show will be help on Dunsmuir Ave, right downtown in the middle of all the action! We couldn't be more happier with the new location to showcase all your amazing cars!

Soapbox derby, parade, car show, cornhole and so much more!

The Dunk Tank is back!

Delightful small town parade, music and entertainment, craft booths, vendors, Children's Carnival, rail equipment display, and a Battle of the Bands on Sunday. Join locals at the Annual Rotary Club Pancake Breakfast on Saturday and Barbecue in the park Sunday. The event often features a 2 and 5 Mile River Run and the Annual Softball Tournament that starts on Friday.
