The 31st Annual La Quinta Arts Festival returns
with live entertainment, great food,
refreshing brews, and the Old Town
Cellar Wine Bar that all add to the
day's amenities. Children under 12 are free.
Approx. 230 of the nation's top artists,
sculptors, mixed media artists and
metal, wood and glass artists will
converge at La Quinta Civic Center for
the premier art festival hosted annual
for 29 years in 2011. La
Quinta Arts Foundation in partnership
with City of La Quinta produces La
Quinta Arts Festival, an award winning
event that attracts art patrons and
tourists from across the nation to
Coachella Valley. La Quinta Arts
Festival is nationally recognized by
artists as one of the renowned art
festivals in the nation.
Surrounded by the rugged Santa Rosa
Mountains, the 13 acre La Quinta Civic
Center campus next to City Hall
(at Washington Street & Calle
Tampico).
In 2011 two of La Quinta Arts Festival
honored Dennis Kohn and
Jim Budish. Kohn's photographic
representation of local Box Canyon was
selected as the image for La Quinta Arts
Festival's annual Commemorative Poster.
His images range from San Francisco
landscapes to the whitewashed villages
of Greece, and the remote villages of
rural China. He resides in Sausalito.
