Heritage Square Museum's annual Vintage Fashion Show and Tea presents 300 years of fashion history. Each year there is a special emphasis to the the fashion show and its focus. A past event has included 'How History Effects Fashion and How Fashion Influences History,' for instance.
In general, fashion most heavily influences the economy, which in turn affects other aspects of society. With the museum's historic Longfellow-Hastings Octagon House as the backdrop, visitors sample food and with delicious teas.
Heritage Square Museum is open regularly Friday through Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Regular admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $5 for children ages 6-12.
